Design of Data Acquisition System Implemented with a Free Cooling Unit (FCU) Controller For a BTS Room

چکیده

The scarcity of electricity caus ing ser ious d is locat ion in a l l spheres of life, inc luding produc t ion in agr icultue and industr ies as w ell as in the sec tion of cellular communication. To reduce the w astage of elec tr ic ity in BTS room now a-days celluler operators are us ing different ventilat ion sys tems instead of Air Condit ioner (A C) . Recently many operators like Banglalink, a leading telecom operator in Bangladesh are interested to interfac e a data acquis it ion sys tem w ith these ventilation systems in BTS rooms .So in this paper a modern ventilation sys tem FCU is des igned interfac ing w ith a Mic ro SD card for data acquis it ion espec ially for Banglalink BTS. FCU is an electronic instrument that records the temperature data and takes dec is ion according to that data. This research w ork deals w ith the PIC18F4520 w hich inc ludes 10 bit A DC for data condit ioning and 32K bytes of program memory w hich prov ides the advantage of interfac ing a FAT-16 sys tem w ith mic roprocessor. In display sec tion 4X20 LCD display is used f or user interac t ion.
